Lupe Flores had an absolute blast bringing to life a gorgeous Arch Nicho in a stunning olive green color! To begin, she carefully painted each piece and added some distressing to give the finished product some extra character. Then, she worked on creating an intricate and beautiful painting of a sugar skull flower on each of the doors. Using marigolds to decorate the skull's eyes, Lupe made sure to add plenty of details to bring these unique pieces to life.
To finish things off, she added a lovely branch with leaves on the arch, as well as on the other side of the doors. She felt like there was still something more to add, so she decided to paint a delicate gold color along the edges of the piece. This simple addition brought a touch of warmth and elegance that made the finished product even more stunning!
Excitedly, she carefully affixed the sides to the back of the doors, followed by the top and bottom pieces, and finally the back side. Using trigger clamps to ensure a flawless joint. The end result was a breathtaking piece of art that she is proud to display in her home!
